The Origin and Complexity of Life

For this is what the LORD says - he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited - he says: "I am the Lord, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:18 NKJV

If the (evolutionary) evidence for the Origin and Complexity of Life cannot withstand the scrutiny of the
Scientific Method, continued support for the Theory of Evolution makes no sense at all!

A.E. Wilder-Smith, Ph.D. (1915-1995), Professor of Pharmacology, University of Illinois Medical Centre (from 1964). The following quote addresses the impossibility of the creation of life by natural processes:

A primeval soup in a primeval ocean is the very last place in which a spontaneous biogenesis by means of condensation of the above kind can occur. Thus the myth of a random, spontaneous formation of vital proteins fails on its first step - the laws of organic chemistry wreck it. Today spontaneous genesis is only supported because it conforms to the present materialistic philosophy of life

Everything in the universe has an initial cause, or origin. The physical world consists of atoms that are organized into molecules and living cells, and cells that are organized into every living creature. If there is no cell, there is no life. The first chapter in this section, The Origin of Life, reviews the two opposing theories (Creationism and Evolutionism) and their belief on how the first organism(s) came into being.

The following chapter, The Complexity of Life, reviews Biblical Creation and the several forms of Darwinism that have emerged over the years. Further details of evolutionary theory are in the sub-chapters for: the Darwinian Theory of Evolution; Neo-Darwinism with Mutation; and an extension of Neo-Darwinian theory put forth by Professors Stephen Jay Gould and Niles Eldredge called Punctuated Equilibrium.

The final chapter of the section, Micro & Macro Evolution, discusses the importance of understanding the difference between the very real effects of micro changes (within species) vs. the evolutionary concept of macro changes that would be required to form new species.

As the origin of the first cell and the development of the complexity of all life are being studied, it is important to understand that these represent the pillars of evolutionary thought. As the opening statement above suggests, if these foundational beliefs cannot be validated, "continued support for the Theory of Evolution makes no sense at all!"

Summarizing the Origin & Complexity of Life

In summarizing Origins, Complexity and Micro & Macro Evolution, the question to be asked is: Does Evolutionary Theory pass the test of science? Evolutionists have defended what they believe is "proof" for their model by using authority or what might be called demeaning words and intimidation rather than facts. Comments expressing authority in place of facts are often published, such as: "everyone believes"; "evolution has been proven"; or "faith and science must be distinctly separate." At the very least, believers in evolution should be called on to provide science only answers to the problematic issues of the Theory. When presented with the fact that there is no proof available through the scientific method for the origin and complexity of life, it becomes clear that both Creation and evolution are initially supported by belief, and not by an objective analysis.

Evolutionary explanations for origins stretch the limits of incredulity when scientists cling to abiogenesis, which has never been observed or reproduced experimentally. If God is not acceptable as an answer for Creation, it may be wise for evolutionists to begin searching for an alternative to the current naturalistic model and one that can pass the test of objective science.

Computer simulations and other related software offering chemical predictions have done much to advance research. While technology can simulate life in many ways, the attributes of organisms cannot be reproduced. The reliance on complex algorithms with a pre-determined objective in mind (i.e. the conditions and cycles that are believed to have occurred to create "meaningful" genetic mutations) may produce valid results in some cases. Random mutations, however, do not occur on a calculated basis simply due to the fact that they are random. Man's knowledge, although impressive, must at some point yield to the understanding that only God can create and fully understand life with all of its intricacies.
